What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that originated in Japan over 100 years ago.
It was developed by Mikao Usui as a simple system for channeling universal life force energy to support the body’s natural ability to relax, rebalance, and restore itself.
The word “Reiki” comes from two Japanese words: “Rei,” meaning universal or spiritual wisdom, and “Ki,” meaning life force energy. In a remote session, I act as a channel for this energy while you relax comfortably in your own space. There is no physical touch involved. The energy gently flows where it is needed most in that moment.
Many people feel calmer, clearer, or more grounded afterward — whether you’re just beginning your spiritual journey or have been exploring for years. Reiki is not a religion and works gently alongside any faith, medical care,
or other healing practices you already use.

Who Can Use Reiki
Everyone can benefit from Reiki
You don’t need any special background or belief. Whether you’re just starting your healing journey or have been on it for years, Reiki gently supports your body’s natural ability to relax and rebalance.
Sessions are guided by intention and work well for anyone open to receiving.
Why Use Reiki
Reiki is a gentle way to support your body and mind
Many people turn to it when they want to feel calmer, release stress, or gently work through anxiety, low energy, or everyday tension. It supports the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of you.
It’s non-invasive and works well alongside any other healing or medical care you’re already using. Sessions help you relax deeply so your own system can rebalance — perfect whether you’re new to this or looking for regular support.

Where Sessions Are Held
All my Reiki sessions are done remotely
You can receive the session from the comfort of your own home. Distance Reiki is just as effective as in-person work — the energy moves beyond physical space or time.
Many people find it even more relaxing because there’s no need to travel. You simply lie down or sit comfortably wherever you are while I send the energy with clear intention.
In-person sessions are not currently available.
Preparing for the Session
Come with an open mind and open heart
Before your session, take a few minutes to care for your basic needs — eat a light snack if you’re hungry, drink some water, and use the restroom.
This helps you stay comfortable and relaxed.
It’s best to disconnect from phones and screens for a bit. Find a quiet, comfortable place where you can lie down or
sit without interruptions. You don’t need to do anything special — just be open to receiving.
During the session
All sessions are remote
You relax in your own space while I send Reiki energy with clear intention. Many people feel gentle warmth, tingling, calmness, or simply a deep sense of relaxation.
Some feel nothing at all — every experience is different
and perfect for you in that moment.
The session is gentle, non-invasive, and lasts for 45 minutes. You can just rest.

Aftercare
You did it — now gently support yourself
After your session, drink plenty of water, rest if you can, and be kind to yourself. You may feel more relaxed, emotional, or even a bit tired — this is normal as your system integrates the energy.
Light movement, journaling, or a gentle walk can help. Avoid alcohol, heavy meals, and intense activity
for the rest of the day.
Listen to your body and give yourself grace.
What to Expect After a Reiki Session
Everyone integrates the energy in their own way
The session may be over, but the Reiki energy often continues to work gently in the background —
sometimes for days, and for some people even longer.
Many feel a sense of calm, clearer thinking, or emotional lightness.
Others notice improved sleep, more energy, or a gentle release of old tension over time.
Some may feel tired or a bit emotional as the body adjusts — this is completely normal.
It is common to experience short-term shifts such as changes in digestion, vivid dreams, or temporary tiredness.
These usually pass within a day or two. If anything feels strong or lasts longer than 48 hours,
it’s wise to check in with your doctor.
The most important thing is to be gentle with yourself.
Drink plenty of water, rest when you need to, and
trust that your system is integrating in its own perfect timing.
